He successfully created a large jalapeno that was consistent in heat and flavor. Now there are larger Jalapenos, but they are Hybrids. This is not a Hybrid. Many people get frustrated with the Jalapenos they grow or buy from the grocery store. They might be big but have lost their heat and flavor. This is what happens when the only interest corporations have is quantity and shelf life instead of quality and flavor!
