Ojeenmma-(Capsicum chinense)-The Ojeenmma pepper is a landrace chile from the country of Ghana in the continent of Africa. The people of Ghana have a documented history of using the Ojeenmma pepper in their culinary practices for over the past 200 years! The word Ojeenmma means “aromatic”. You can smell the fragrant aroma when cooking. The Ojeenmma chile is traditionally cooked with onions, ginger, tomatoes and garlic and served with different corn meal breads. It is very popular throughout Ghana. The Ojeenmma chile is slightly elongated in shape and ripens from green to a yellowish orange. The flavor does have fruity citrus tones, and the heat is at an average habanero level of heat. The Ojeenmma chile plants grow over 5 feet tall and require caging and support. 10+ Seeds
