Blot-(Capsicum annuum)-The Blot pepper comes to us from Eastern Europe close to Russia. It is called Klyaksa which means Blur or Blot in the Russian language. It has this name for the colorful blotches of burnt orange and purple that appear on the Blot chile. The plants produce average bell pepper size peppers. They are extremely sweet, juicy and crunchy with no heat at all. The Blot peppers are great for sauces, stuffing, roasting, pickling and salads. The Blot chile plants grow just over 2 feet tall and are very productive.
