Chocolate Cayenne-(Capsicum annuum)-The Chocolate Cayenne pepper is a smooth skinned Cayenne type that ripens from green to dark brown. These seeds came from my friend Jes who obtained them from an Italian chile seed website in Italy. I have tried to contact them to get more information but as of 2026 have not heard back. The Chocolate Cayenne chiles have a smoky sweet flavor and are very mild compared to the traditional red Cayenne peppers. The Chocolate Cayenne peppers average 4 to 6 inches long and are pendant pods. The Chocolate Cayenne chile plants grow between 4 to 5 feet tall and are very productive. 10+ Seeds
