Dorset Naga-(Capsicum chinense)-The Dorset Naga pepper is a selection of the Naga Morich pepper that comes from Bangladesh. Joy and Michael Michaud made selections over the years for heat, flavor and productivity. Their company Sea Spring seeds is in West Dorset, UK. It has been tested at Warwick University UK and came in well over 1,000,000 SHU heat levels. The Dorset Naga chiles are elongated pendant peppers about 2 inches in length and ripen from green to red. The outer skin surface is slightly bumpy, and the pods will get a slight nipple at the tip. What separates the Nagas from Ghost peppers is they have more fruity flavor tones. The seeds for our Dorset Naga plants were sourced directly from a friend who obtained them from Sea Spring seeds. The Dorset Naga chile plants grow well over 5 feet tall and require support. 10+ seeds
