Early Jalapeno-(Capsicum annuum)-Named early because it fruits early but has a nice kick of heat for a Jalapeno. The Early Jalapeno peppers grow to just over 2 inches long and are average for Jalapeno size. These are very easy to grow and do well in short season climates. The Early Jalapeno chile plants grow 2 to 3 feet tall. The peppers if left on the plant too long like other Jalapenos will turn red. They are usually eaten when green.
