Maules Red Hot-(Capsicum annuum)-Also known as Ladyfinger pepper. This Cayenne type was originally introduced to the world by the William Henry Maule seed company of Philadelphia in 1912. It produces bright red peppers up to 10 inches long. It is known as a very fast producer well suited for those that grow in Northern climates that have shorter growing seasons. It has a medium cayenne heat with some background fruity tones. Great for fresh salsas, drying and stir fry! The Maules Red Hot Chile plants grow 2 to 3 feet tall.
