Mosaic Yard Long Bean 20 seeds

Mosaic bean-(Vigna unguiculata)-This bean is also called the Asparagus bean or Yard Long Bean. Like other Yard Long Beans it is most common in Southern China. This variety is called the Mosaic Bean because of the pod’s blend of red, purple and green colors. The Mosaic Bean is highly prized for it’s tenderness and sweet taste. It is very crisp when picked and can get as long as 16 inches. Best harvested at 12 inches for maximum flavor. Used for stir-fry, soups, stews or steamed. Colors fade while cooking. Tasty enough to get your kids to eat their veggies. Maturity 80 days. Grows best when trellised or staked.
