Patagonia-(Capsicum annuum)-The Patagonia Pepper is a Native Heirloom chile from Patagonia, Arizona. It is an ornamental type because of ripening through multiple colors until it finally turns red. It produces peppers on a large bushy plant ripening colors of yellow green, pink, orange and red. The Patagonia chile is edible and has fruity flavor tones. The heat is above Jalapeno and comes on quick. It is good for sauces, fresh salsa, pickling and stir fry. The Patagonia chile are conical in shape much like a Pequin and grow pointing up.
