Peach Scotch Bonnet-(Capsicum chinense)-The Peach Scotch Bonnet pepper is a of course a Peach colored Scotch type. It has a medium habanero heat level with fruity citrus tones. Like many other Scotch Bonnet types from the Caribbean and Africa it does not have the Bonnet shape. Many Bonnets do not have that shape but instead have large wrinkled folds in the outer skin. The reason why many think all Bonnets have the Bonnet shape is because that is the photos that are shared. When even the varieties that produce bonnet shapes still also produce peppers on the same plant that do not have those defined shapes! The Peach Scotch Bonnet Chile is very productive and produces lots of peppers that ripen from green to peach. They are great for sauces, seasoning powders and fresh salsa! The Peach Scotch Bonnet chile plants grow over 3 feet tall.
