Purple Reaper-(Capsicum chinense)-This beauty comes from our good friend from Brazil. He is Master Grower Carlos Jr. Lolo. He grows many superhots in his fields in South America especially plenty of Carolina Reapers. Apparently though something crossed into his Reapers and now we have a Purple Reaper. The Purple Reaper ripens from green to a beautiful shade of purple. Eventually if left on the plant longer it will turn into a bright dark red. The flavor is slightly fruity like a Reaper and the heat level is pretty much the same. This strain is still young so you may see variations in color as nature likes to have fun with genetics. The Purple Reaper chile plants grow to an average height of 4 feet tall depending on growing conditions.
