SBJ7-(Capsicum chinense)-The full name is Scotch Bonnet Jonah 7 Pot. This was an accidental cross discovered by my grower friend Patrick Mumford who then shared seeds all over the world! He remembers having a row of 7 Pot Jonah next to a row of Scotch Bonnet in 2009-2010. Then next season he got this wicked cross he named the SBJ7. It is not totally stable but the ideal peppers look like spinning tops that have a bumpy lumpy outer skin like 7 Pot Brain Strains. The flavor is fruity floral and very hot. They peppers ripen from green to red. As they turn color they have a beautiful color transition. The SBJ7 chile plants grow up to 4 feet tall and are very productive.
