Wiri Wiri Yellow-(Capsicum chinense)-The Wiri Wiri Yellow pepper is the Yellow variant of the Wiri Wiri Red from Guyana, South America. It ripens from green to light yellow. The Wiri Wiri Yellow chiles are slightly smaller than the Wiri Wiri Red but about 25% larger than the Aji Charapita from Peru. They are round pea shaped peppers that grow pointing up. The flavor is citrus fruity, and the heat is close to lower level habanero types. They are great for adding spice to soups, stews, sauces and salsa. The Wiri Wiri Yellow chile plants grow 2 to 3 feet tall.
